Originally from western Montana, Denise moved to Portland in 1988 in search of all that such a great city had to offer. Although she left the simple life behind, she continues to live by the values and the ethics she had grown up with: hard work, integrity, and honesty without compromise! 

Prior to becoming a Realtor in 1991, she worked in the banking and accounting fields, and later in marketing for a large commercial contractor. Each position provided the building blocks for her real estate career, a career that had been her dream for many years. 

In the world of real estate, where change is constant, continuous education is a must. Denise continually takes classes and seminars to ensure that her education is current for her marketplace. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and she also graduated from the Realtor's Institute and holds the GRI.  In addition she is an Accredited Buyer's Representative ABR and a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE).

Denise's commitment is to provide professional and outstanding personalized service for each and every client. Her warm and caring approach has resulted in lasting friendships, repeat clients, and personal referrals. Her exceptional people skills have enabled her to obtain the best results for her clients. 

In fact, during the last several years, over 95% of her business has been by referral or with clients with whom she has worked in the past. She uses her Client Appreciation Program as a means to stay in contact with her clients after the sale and provide after-sale service. Because she works by referral, she has time to work on marketing your property rather than prospecting for new business, unlike most real estate agents.
